About Us

So You’re wondering where the name Dayspring comes from, right?
In Luke 1:78-79, the Bible says, “ Through the tender mercy of our God, With which the DAYSPRING from on high has visited us;
To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.”
The DAYSPRING is our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Meet the Pastors.

Every member of our leadership team has a passion for helping others seek and follow Christ. Dayspring believes that every believer receives spiritual gifts to minister to the church and the community by supporting every believer in following God's calling on their life.

Rodney Coffey

Senior Pastor
Senior Pastor Rodney Coffey began his leadership in early 2018 and is fired up to see so many families give all of their problems over to the Lord. Pastor Rod was made just for this purpose.

Matt Runyon

Youth Pastor
Our youth pastor has a vision to see youth understand the need for all people to follow Christ in their everyday lives. And if you think your kids are too rowdy...he has a few of his own.

Chad Kidd

Worship Leader
Our worship leader likes to mix his worship with a little bit of the old and the new. But don't call him old, because he can turn an Eagles tune into new heavenly praise for the glory of Jesus.

Meet our board members

Our board members are an essential part of the church. These members devote their time to making the most important decisions for the church and it’s people.

What We Believe In.

People normally don't like to follow rules. Faith is a little different. Dayspring believes that the Church should have a basic understanding of who God is and what we believe about Him.
The Bible is inspired by God, without error, and is practical for believers today.
  • There is only one true God, who exists as the Trinity-Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the 2nd person of the Trinity.
  • Salvation is received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
  • The Holy Spirit indwells those who believe in Jesus, and gives spiritual gifts to believers.
  • Divine healing is provided for via the cross.
  • The rapture--before Christ's return.
  • Jesus Christ will reign with the children of God for 1,000 years on the earth following the Great Tribulation.
  • God will establish a new heaven and new earth.
  • Those not in the book of life are will receive the Final Judgement and cast into the lake of fire eternally.
